I was at tampines 1 on the first day of its opening.. the shopping mall is not veyr big and i would say better than jurong point. just because there is topshop, dorothy perkins, uniqlo, carl's jr, num, diva, and so many shops there! although its very cramp cos of the lack of space there. and i was actually very amazed by the fact that people have to queue up outside to get into a fashion shop. its just a japanese casual wear shop. but. the designs are nice and its at a very reasonable price too. less than 30 or so u can get a t shirt there. the queue was actually all the way to the toilet, to the lift lobby, to the stairways down to the next level. so exaggerating.
anyway, i dont know if it is due to the first day of opening that alot of things seems so messed up. i met up with teng and simon for dinner there. firstly, we went to secret recipe. queued for sometime. then when its about to reach our turn, a waitress came and tell us they have no more food left. DUH! a restaurant without food! nvm.. we proceed on to this restaurant called F.I.S.H. service was okie at the beginning. but. it was really ~!#^&%#^#~!# after that. firstly, we placed our orders. drinks came like 15 mins later. den another 20 mins passed. the person came and tell us they have no more fish left. which is wad me and simon ordered. so we changed our order. another 15 mins passed. they served me my food. then, 5 mins later came another one more set of my food which we dint order. den they went to check it out. mins later teng's food was served. quality was bad.. den.. 10 mins later the chef came and say simon's food is not available. asked us to choose something else. and they say have to wait for another 15 - 20 mins. man. by then, its already 9.45pm. and the mall closes at 10pm.
